Causes and prevention of fluorocarbon paint biting and blistering

Fluorocarbon paint is a high-performance anticorrosive decorative coating, which is widely used in factories, buildings, villas and other fields, with excellent decorative effects and protective effects. However, as a decorative coating, the biggest problem of fluorocarbon paint is because of coating application. How to solve the problem of bottom biting and blistering after they occur?

1. Bite the bottom

Causes:

The primer is not completely dry.

The topcoat is sprayed prematurely.

The bottom layer is not matched with the topcoat.

The bottom coating film cannot withstand the strong solvent of the topcoat and is dissolved and swelled, and the recoat interval is too short.

The primer has not fully reacted, before applying the second layer of coating.

Treatment method: spray the top coat after the primer is dry, select the matching paint, and master the interval of recoating.

2. Blister

Causes:

During the drying process of the coating film, there are many uneven and irregularly shaped protrusions on the surface under the conditions of high temperature and high humidity conditions. The moisture in the base layer evaporates and causes the coating film to blister. The fluorocarbon paint is painted too thick. The surface is already dry but the thinner of the bottom layer has not been completely volatilized.

The air is entrained into the coating during spraying, and it produces blisters, by failing to volatilized with solvents.

Treatment method: The moisture content of the base layer should accord with the requirements. The coating should not be sprayed too thick at one time. The blistered coating should be thoroughly removed, filling with putty, and repainted.
