It is formulated with phenolic resin, drying oil, pigment, filler, drier and solvent. It has a certain degree of resistance to diluted acid and acid salt solution at room temperature and has good mechanical performance against acid gases. It can be self-dried or baked to dry. Its water resistance is better than alkyd paint, but it is not resistant to oxidizing acid and alkali and has poor UV resistance. It is suitable for anti-corrosion coatings on metal and wood surfaces where acid gases are invaded.

No, phenolic acid resistant paint is not suable to be used in acid solution. But it has good resistance to acid gas, can protect the substrate from corrosion of acid gas and acid fog.
