Epoxy zinc-rich shop primer is a two-component self-drying paint, composed of epoxy resin, special resin, zinc dust, additives and solvents, and the other component is an amine curing agent. The epoxy zinc-rich shop primer is rich in zinc dust. The electrochemical protective effect of zinc dust makes the coating film have outstanding anti-rust performance; the paint film has high hardness; high-temperature resistance without affecting welding performance; superior drying performance; good adhesion, good mechanical properties. Epoxy zinc-rich shop primer is widely used in steel plate pretreatment shot blasting in metallurgy, containers, various transportation vehicles, and engineering machinery. It is especially suitable for steel structure anti-rust use. It is an ideal metal pretreatment shot blasting and anti-rust maintenance primer.

Epoxy zinc-rich primer can withstand a dry-heat temperature of 100-120℃. If high-temperature resistance is required, an inorganic zinc-rich shop primer should be used instead of an epoxy zinc-rich shop primer. It can withstand as high a temperature as 400℃.
The single-layer paint film (15-25μm) of the shop primer has the anti-rust ability for at least three months before the steel is assembled in the ocean or industrial atmosphere.
Shop primer does not affect the welding speed and quality, and strength of the weld.
When welding and cutting, no harmful gas exceeding the allowable range of labor protection is generated.
